Buyer claims guide.

Use this guide before making any public emissions, net-zero or contribution claim. Terminal Carbon does not approve buyer claims; the buyer and its advisers are responsible.

Voluntary offset claim

Permitted only when the buyer holds a retired credit on a recognised registry.

Contribution claim

Permitted where the buyer funds mitigation without claiming the underlying tonne.

Article 6 authorized mitigation outcome (AMO)

Only where host-country authorization and corresponding adjustment are in place.

CORSIA-eligible claim

Only for credits explicitly listed by ICAO/CORSIA — Terminal Carbon does not pre-certify CORSIA eligibility.

JCM claim

Only for credits issued under the Joint Crediting Mechanism.

Korea ETS-eligible claim

Buyer must satisfy itself of K-ETS eligibility under Korean rules.

UAE voluntary / institutional claim

For UAE voluntary and institutional buyers; Terminal Carbon does not assert UAE compliance eligibility.
